Selina Boateng, a well-known gospel performer who is happily married, revealed that sex is not only a necessary element but also acts as a drug for a happy marriage.
She claims that having sex is therapeutic and that it can even help relieve the pain of a headache, which is why she views it as a normal and significant aspect of married life.
“After I got married, I realised sex is medicinal. Even when you have sex after a headache, you realise you feel better,” she said.
Despite the possibility of criticism from those who might argue that discussing sex is inappropriate for a gospel musician, Boateng believes that it is a God-ordained natural feeling that everyone should embrace. She made this statement in an interview on Adom TV’s The Journey.

She prayed that anyone looking for love would experience it and share God’s goodness and glory in it.
On December 7, 2019, Selina and Isaac Berchie exchanged vows in a lovely ceremony at the Church of Pentecost Maakro Central, Kumasi.
This occurred following the traditional wedding on December 6.
After three years of marriage, she recently became a mother for the first time at the age of 38.
