On Monday, March 6, 2023, a high-end car caught fire at the University of Ghana.

The incident took place on the Jean Nelson Ackah Hall’s forecourt while a few locals were attending what some claim was a car show.

The Ford Mustang’s driver could be seen loudly revving the stationary car’s engine.

He continued doing this until it seemed to have overheated and eventually exploded.

While the car was still blazing, startled onlookers fled while screaming for help.

After burning for almost a minute, two men arrived on the scene carrying extinguishers and extinguished the fire.

Videos posted on social media show the car being towed away after that.

The health of the driver is still unknown.
