Mrs. Alberta Adwoa Boatemaa Oquaye, the wife of Professor Michael Aaron Oquaye, the former Speaker of Parliament, passed away.
On March 5, 2023, early on Saturday, she passed away.
Her son, Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jr., the CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, shared a post on social media in which he expressed his sorrow over her passing.
He wrote “it is with deep sorrow that I have to convey the news of the sudden passing of our mother;

Mrs. Oquaye, who passed away, was a retired nursing officer at Accra’s 37 Military Hospital.
