Celestine Donkor, the award-winning gospel sensation has revealed how the lack of investors has hampered the gospel music industry from flourishing.

In an interview with Atinka Tv morning show, Celestine Donkor asserted “When you are doing gospel music and you do not have an investor or you do not have money to invest, it is very difficult because we do not have record labels who will say we have discovered you as a talent and we want to promote you, invest in your work or promote your work; it is not common in Ghana and so it is the individuals that are trying to promote themselves”

Celestine Donkor also revealed how money is involved in every part of making music and video as well “Also, wherever you go, they will take money, from the studio where you are going to record the song to the taking of videos, the people you will go to locations with, the equipment you will rent, every step of the journey is about money”

The Gospel crooner also recently offered her thoughts on marriage and why it is important for couples to go into marriage with trust and confidence towards each other “In everything, there are possibilities of faithful people and those who have the tendency to cheat as well. Trust is important in marriage.. I will say every human is bound to sin. Our flesh is full of sins, so any human being at all can sin” after fellow Gospel singer Empress Gifty claimed it was better to into marriage with the knowledge your partner would cheat “If you don’t bear that in mind, you will go mad when it happens to you. You see, don’t see your husband as Holy Ghost. Don’t consider your wife as [Hail] Mary. No. Acknowledge that your partner is a human being. Think about divorce just as you thought about your wedding”
