On Friday, February 24, 2023, Hon. Boakye Agarko, a prospective presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, continued his campaign tour in the Sekyere constituencies of the Ashanti region, where his father was born and raised.

On Friday, February 24, 2023, the tour officially began with an in-depth interview with Sammy Bee, host of Kokrokoo, a morning political analysis program on Kumasi-based Hello FM.

The program included, among other things, a biography of Hon. Boakye Agyarko and his work as a campaign policy advisor for the ruling NPP in 2016, which resulted in the development of important initiatives like Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, 1District-1Factory, and others.

No other governments in the Fourth Republic, according to Hon. Boakye Agyarko, can perform better than the NPP governments.

He added that “it takes leadership combined with the blessings of God to tuen things around in times of crisis. Problems do not go away until they get solved, I believe that NPP is the safest pair of hands to manage the economy for Ghana. Looking at the policies and structures in place by the ruling NPP, I do not think there is any government which can beat the records of the both Prez Kuffour and Prez. Nana Addo in this 4th republic.”

He used the opportunity to address members, sympathizers, and supporters of the NPP in Ashanti region to co tinge to stand firm, feel proud of the enormous contributions to the past successes of the party and not to relent going forward into election 2024.

Hon. Boakye Agyarko joined his paternal family to morn his late cousin, Agonahene Nana Frimpong Ababio, from the 25th to 27th of February, 2023.
