The aforementioned arrest warrant is related to the 15 February unmasking of a new leader of Bawku, who was found to be illegal and convicted.
However, the army failed on Sunday night’s campaign to capture the skinned king Bawku Naba. The government has condemned the shelling, calling it illegal and a threat to national security.
“The Government condemns developments in Nalerigu today February 15, 2023, concerning the purported enskinment of a new Bawku Naba as illegal and a threat to National Security,” a statement released by Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said.
The assertion went even further, ordering safety offerings to arrest and prosecute everyone else who diagnosed himself as Bawku Naba.
