Some drama was captured during the ongoing ministerial audit in parliament where the trade and industry-appointed minister, Kobina Tahir Hammond, known simply as KT Hammond, was recommended by the committee elected by the House of Representatives toasted.
As a feature of him, the MP for the Adansi-Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti region was too comfortable with his fellow committee members, a posture that has caused controversy.
The minority leader, Kwame Governs Agbodza, was forced to call him for orders after he continued to question several committee members when they tried to question him.
Bawku’s deputy, Mahama Ayariga, was the first to worry about the candidate’s posture, but the chairman, Joseph Osei-Wusu, saw nothing wrong there.

Despite the president’s ruling, Agbodza pleaded with KT Hammond to take the audit committee seriously as the proceedings were broadcast live on TV and people were watching from afar.
Realizing that a minority part of the committee was unhappy because the minister was so comfortably appointed, Osei-Wusu then begged for a cool head to prevail. He took responsibility for not demanding rigor from the very beginning of the procedure.
