Christian Atsu Twasam was a Ghanaian professional footballer who mostly played as a winger and also deployed as a midfielder. He was born on 10 January 1992, in Ada Foah, Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Christian Atsu was a devout Christian.
He had his education with the then Feyernoord Football Academy at Gomoa Fetteh, in the Central Region of Ghana which has now been changed to West African Football Academy at Sogakope, in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Christian Atsu Career
In 2011 May 14, a young and energetic Atsu arrived at Porto. He met his first-team manager André Villas-Boas for a Primeira Liga against Martimo in the years 2012 and 2013. On 1 September 2013, He joined Chelsea on a fiver-year contract and was immediately loaned to other football clubs namely; Dutch, Vitesse, Málaga, Everton, Bournemouth.
On 31 August 2016, Christian joined a one-year contract with Newcastle United in a possibility to buy a clause in contract. Christian scored his first goal for Newcastle United against Rotherhanm United in October 2016. Christian signed with Al-Raed and Hatayspor in the years July 2021 and September 2022 respectively.
Christian Atsu played for his motherland and won player of the tournaments and goal of the tournaments. He helped his team finish as runners-up at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Christian Atsu played for Turkish top-flight side Hatayspor as a midfielder. He climbed off bench to score the winning goal at the Yeni Stadium.

Chistian Atsu was born as twin, the other twin sister is Christiana Atsupie Twasam. Marie-Claire Rupio is the wife of Christian Atsu.
She is an author from Germany and who had been married since 2012. They met in Portugal and fell in love and are blessed with three lovely kids.
Christian said to TV3 Sports ; “I met my in Portugal and you can see we have a beautiful family. We’ve been together for nine to ten years and i just love her”.
