She pointed out that in addition to free higher education, the PNC government will also ensure large investments in the agricultural sector of the economy for further development to feed the people and also for exports.
“We are going to extend free education to tertiary,” she said on TV3 adding that “we [PNC] are also going to invest in agriculture.”
Speaking of the huge size of the NPP government, Janet Nabla said that the PNC asked the president to cut staff, but that went unnoticed.
“We told the government to downsize, we are still hoping that they will do it,” she added.
Earlier, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) had called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to instantly reduce the government and cut spending to build confidence in its commitment to solving the economic mess of the country.

The charismatic council says the cuts in government staff and spending will show Ghanaians that the call to burden-sharing is not just words but is backed up by action.
In a statement, the GPCC also called on the government and other stakeholders to work together to establish a national dialogue forum for regular consultation and engagement on relevant issues of national concern.
