With just four days to report date, Ghana Education Service (GES) has finally announced school placements for 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Graduates in High School and Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET).
This is due to parents and educators feeling agitated and uncertain about the delay.

Applicants are now entering the computerized school selection and placement system ‘CSSPS’, according to the Ghana Education Service. Check out their school.
At a press conference on Wednesday, February 15, the service said out of her 547,329 candidates who had taken the exam, 538,399 were eligible to be placed in schools.
He added that 372,780 candidates were automatically placed in another school, while 165,601 candidates failed to fit into their school of choice and must undergo self-assessment.
GES General Director Dr. Eric Nkansah stressed that first graders should report to the school on February 20th so that the admissions process can begin.
He urged the public to be careful “not to fall victim to scammers who ask you to pay to be placed on the SHS.”

Many expected the deadline to be extended due to the delay of GES itself, but that never happened.
