Koampa Razak Avoliya, the youth organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Suame, was released on bail by an itinerant court in Asokwa.
The judge released the Suame NDC Youth Organizer on GHC 50,000 cedis bail with two bailiffs.

With five lawyers by their side, the defendants argued that their client had been a longtime politician for 12 years and had no criminal record.
They repeat again; Razak is not in danger of forgoing bail as he has turned himself in to the police along with NDC officers.
Council Chief Counsel Evans Amankwah commended the court for confirming the defense’s position and accepting its plea.
The prosecution by the Director of Legal Affairs and Prosecutions of the Ashanti Regional Police Command, CPA Kofi Blagodzie, will not challenge the defendants’ views.
However, he assured the court that he had the necessary arsenal to prosecute the defendant when the case management meeting began.
National NDC organizer Joseph Yamin said the party still doesn’t understand why it took two hearings for the court to issue bail for its members.

However, he instructed party supporters to go to court to support any party members who find themselves in a similar situation to the law.
He was charged with offensive conduct following his public comments that police said constituted incitement to political violence.
