Former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo has finally responded to Gabby Otchere-Darko for blasting her for joining her retirees in besieging the Treasury Department.

Ms Akuffo said Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko couldn’t decide for her what to do and what not to do.

She returned to the ministry facility on Tuesday after her appearance on Friday sparked an outcry.

Speaking in an interview, she said the President’s cousin [Gabby Asare Otchere Darko] might call her paranoid because of her stance on the Domestic Debt Swap Program (DDEP), but she not interested.

The top member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a series of tweets on Sunday, said the former judge should take time to understand the issues surrounding the current program before choosing a retirement side.

Mr. Otchere-Darko thinks Ms. Akuffo is wrong “big time in her basic appreciation of the issues.”

In a series of tweets, Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko tackled the former Chief Justice for her lack of understanding on the DDEP plan.

But for her, Mr. Otchere-Darko is a nuisance and she has no time for such things or people.

“Is he a member of the government? He doesn’t decide for me what I need to do or not. I don’t have time for things like that. People like that are not important to me or my life. He is a disturbance; that’s all I have got to say about that,” she said.

During her appearance on Friday, the heroine called the show evil, illegal and disrespectful.
