Christian Atsu’s wife Marie Clara Lupio, who has three children, spoke for the second time after the player’s devastating news trended on social media for five days.
Hopes ran high last Tuesday after social media reported that the player was found alive and taken to a hospital for treatment.

Online Ghanaians took to the internet to welcome the news, but unfortunately the latest report dismissed the claim that Christian Atsu had been found.
In an exclusive interview with BBC News, Christian Atu’s wife sadly revealed that she last spoke to her husband two days before the incident last Saturday.
She explained that Christian Atu’s manager had confirmed to her that some people were still alive under the Hatay Renaissance building where her husband is now confined, but unfortunately no rescue The Corps did not have the necessary equipment to rescue these people.

Meanwhile, a fresh positive report by a Turkish news agency called Ajansspor says some people are still alive under the rubble of a Hatay Renaissance building that was home to about 1,000 people at the time of the deadly earthquake. Confirming.

The Hatay Renaissance building was home to Ghanaian soccer player Christian Atu, Hataispor sports director Taner Savut, Turkish handball player Cemal Kutahya and his family.
