Yvonne Nelson, the award-winning Ghanaian actress has revealed the laziness some of the new and upcoming actors and actresses display on set and a general lack in the sense of professionalism towards their work.

In an interview with the e-chart show, Yvonne Nelson would also reveal her preference in working with the veterans instead of the new breed because with the former, there is already an understanding of what is expected thus making the delivery easier “The old gees already have an understanding of how the job is done. They know the job so it’s easier working with them. It’s easier working with my colleagues Majid, John its easier. Ghanaians were complaining they were tired of seeing the old faces in movies thus we should explore the talents of the upcoming actors but these new actors lack discipline and seriousness”

Yvonne Nelson would also reveal the lack of punctuality from some of this new crop of movie makers which is very frustrating “Funny enough, they haven’t gained popularity but their behaviour on set is very bad. We go on set and at the location, we have been granted five (5) hours to use the place. You give them a specific time to report and you see them reporting at a different time. For example, you tell them to be on set at 8am and they end up reporting at 2pm.”

According to the award-winning movie actress who also doubles as a producer, these behaviours and indications have left her considering several other things in her next project since she wouldn’t want such tardiness and a lack of professionalism from people in her team that she is supposed to be working with.
