Gospel musician, Perpetual Didier has said, her family rejects the post-mortem examination conducted on her late brother, Shadrach Arloo by the Ghana Police Service.

Arloo, 32 years, according to reports is said to have died at the West Hills mall following an altercation with private security guards and a police officer who were trying to search his bag.

However, police statement indicated that, eight wraps containing dry leaves tied in a polythene bag which tested positive for cannabis was found in his throat.

Reacting to the news on Okay FM’s Best Entertainment Show, Perpetual said the police are hiding something to blame the cause of death on her late brother.

She explained that, a doctor from the family side was not present during the autopsy examination.

“They [the police] never called me for investigations. A lady from the IGP office called to wish me condolence. The holy spirit is my witness, I swear on my bible – the lady called me a day after the incident, assuring that everything will be fine. IGP also called two minutes after the lady called. After that, no police official called me to assist in the autopsy aspect. Police has not called me to help them do investigation. The police did the autopsy without a doctor from the family side. They want to hide something, and we won’t leave the matter here. We are taking it to court. We will get the right justice, the police cannot fabricate stories to cover things up because they’re police.”

She added, “My brother doesn’t even know how to drink alcohol, and go further ahead to take wee. My brother doesn’t have bad records. He’s a cool guy. They [the police] cannot disgrace his dead body just because they’re police to fabricate stories. We are not taking the report. Ghanaians should not trust the police on the autopsy report.”
