Mr. Ibu is undoubtedly one of the popular names in the Nigerian Nollywood movie industry as his talents as a comic actor has contributed to the rise of the industry. He has been accused by his second wife (Stella Maris Okafor) of financially neglecting her and the three kids they share together and would even go as far as dropping a couple of videos via her Instagram page that shows a physical altercation between herself and her husband and in one of the videos, he could be heard asking his wife “Talk to me now, you said Chioma did what to you”
Chioma Okafor Jasmine is a popular content creator on TikTok is the acclaimed daughter of actor John Okafor (Mr. Ibu) and is rumoured to be in a relationship that isn’t a daughter-father type of relationship but one between lovers and Stella would fuel up these speculations after she again posted a video of herself crying and was heard saying “He came from his girlfriend’s house to come and beat me”. This would lead to speculations by some sympathizers on her Instagram page claiming this very ‘girlfriend’ is none other than Chioma Jasmine.
Mr. Ibu has since then not commented on the issue as his followers have been waiting for him to come to clear the air with regards to his marital problems as they believe the lady shouldn’t be washing their dirty linens outside as he is a well-known individual thus attracting more attention which is bad.
