Archipalago, controversial socialite and Hiplife artiste claims Black Sherif has made a lot of Ghanaian artists ‘Useless’ with his unique sound and style as they are unable to match up to him.
Archipalago in an interview with celebrity blogger, Zionfelix stated that Black Sherif uniqueness as an artist has made a lot of Ghanaian artists useless as they are now out of the market since he now has the commercial attention as he continues to impress.
He’ll further add, a lot of the Ghanaian artists are struggling with the numbers ‘Killer Blacko’ has been making from Spotify, Audiomack, Boomplay, Youtube and other streams thus completely overshadowing them. Archipalago also revealed this is as a result of being on a record label as they are able to mobilize their resources into promoting the artiste and this is one of the reasons why Black Sherif has such colossal figures.
Archipalago is also of the belief independent artists would struggle to make such figures due to not working with no-record labels which he says does the magic. Black Sherif is currently under contract with ‘Black Empire’ which according to him is one of the biggest record labels on the continent hence his penetration into the international market as well as his popularity on that front and he also acknowledged the huge potential of Black sherif and believes he is destined for more greatness.
Black Sherif has been a major force in the industry since his inception in 2021 with the hit ‘First sermon’ which would then be followed by ‘Second-sermon’ and many more commercial successes. He recently dropped his debut ‘The Villain I Never Was’ album which has been well received by Ghanaian listeners and doing well internationally too.
