Ras Kuuku, award-winning Reggae Dancehall and Hiplife Ghanaian artiste has waded into the Sarkodie not responding to calls and ignoring features brouhaha with an entirely different perspective blaming that “Obolo guy”

Ras Kuuku who was being interviewed on TV3 had this to say “I’ll say it’s Angel for me. Angel is keeping people from getting to Sarkodie. Angel has blocked the songs I sent to them myself. He doesn’t tell Sarkodie what to do but he stops the songs from getting to Sarkodie”

Ras Kuuku believes Sarkodie isn’t really the hard type people make him out to be but blames the public perception on Angel Town whom he hilariously described as “that Obolo guy” and revealed he had had a very good conversation with Sarkodie when the two met at an event and decided to use the opportunity to get Sarkodie on his EP which he had no problem with. He would later send two songs to no response from the team because “that Obolo guy” blocked the songs from getting to Sarkodie.

According to Ras Kuuku, everyone involved in the music business from Tema (where Sarkodie comes from) knows this is the nature of Angel Town as he keeps people from getting in touch with Sarkodie.

Sarkodie has come under heavy criticism from certain artists including Samini, Edem, Dee Money and some industry players for his indifference towards working with them on certain projects. However, some other artists including D-Black, Wendy Shay and Pope Skinny would also in a series of tweets jump to the defence of Sarkodie after revealing he helped them at a time they weren’t even looking to him quickly finishing what they had sent him.
