Juliet Bawuah, a knowledgeable sports journalist from Ghana, has left TV3, a division of Media General.
The sports journalist’s 30-month employment with the media company came to an end this week when she submitted her notice of resignation, according to Nydjlive.
Many people are shocked by the resignation, especially in light of the outstanding work done by the media organization before and during the recently concluded Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022.
Right now, it’s unclear where she’ll be going next.
Juliet Bawuah succeeded Michael Oti-Adjei, a colleague who had been promoted to the position of General Manager, in July 2020 as the head of sports at Media General (Digital).
Juliet held positions before joining TV3 at CITI FM, ETV, Metro TV, Goal, CafOnline, the sister station of Euronews, and Africanews.
She also contributes to the BBC, Al Jazeera, Premier League TV, LA Liga TV, and the Turkish network TRT.
Juliet is a graduate of the US State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program and a Radio Netherlands Training Centre (RNTC) graduate (IVLP).
Her other professional affiliations include membership in the voting juries for the Ballon d’Or (Women’s Category), CAF African Footballer of the Year, FourFourTwo Awards, CAF Media Expert, International Sports Journalists Association (AIPS), Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), and Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
Juliet is the founder of the Africa Women’s Sports Summit, the CEO of the boutique sports agency Sportted Ghana Limited, and the former Brand & Strategy Relations Manager of Berekum Chelsea of the Ghana Premier League.
