Sarkodie is one of the greatest musical exports this country ever produced and his legendary status won’t take a nosedive regardless of the negative sides that come with him because he is human after all but he could help himself a little more by working on what is seemingly becoming a call of concern from industry colleagues, non-return of messages.
Sarkodie usually makes the headline for all the right reasons and was just a few days ago celebrated for his feature on celebrated late reggae icon, Bob Marley’s stir it up but now finds himself in the unfamiliar territory of critics after Samini came at him.
Samini is himself one of the country’s greatest artists and has together with Sarkodie advanced Ghanaian music to the ewiase (world). Samini decided to shake Twitter up after a series of controversial tweets that mainly focused on Sarkodies’s negative attitude towards responding to messages. Here’s what the High-grade boss wrote “I got nothing against @sarkodie and he knows it. He also know that he Dey owe me personal apology for the blue ticks after having me send 3 tracks and he choosing 1. After asking me if it was a single or an album to which I answered it’s an EP. He’s like coo he’s yet to respond”
Sarkodie is yet to make any form of response to the newly-elected Ghana Institution of management and public administration (GIMPA) Student’s Representative Council. Samini, however, isn’t the first artiste to publicly comment on Sarkodie’s negative attitude of not returning calls and ignoring messages as Edem, Dee Money and Kwaw Kese have all complained in the past. Sarkodie is, of course, is a busy person as he is mostly out of the country as well but he could do a little more by just returning messages, especially from colleagues.
