Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George says former President John Dramani Mahama has already won the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearership race over the others.

He said Kojo Bonsu and Dr. Kwabena Duffour who are said to be lacing their boots to contest the position should see themselves as losers.

“You are saying what If Mahama is not flagbearer of NDC? Oh how? With the greatest of respect to them if I stand I will beat Kojo Bonsu and Dr. Kwabena Duffour, how much more John Mahama. Me I have fans in the NDC than the two of them combine” he said on Joy Prime.

In addition, Sam George said if the current administration should continue to control the affairs of the country after the 2024 general elections; it will be a big problem for the country’s financial sector.

He said it would be wiser to divide up and distribute the nation’s assets among the people if John Dramani Mahama is to lose the presidency in the 2024 elections.

He believes former President Mahama is the best person to lead the NDC ahead of the 2024 elections, and supervise over the affairs of the country.

He added, “We should share the country among us. You should not say this. If you love this country…Everybody who loves this country should hazard that thought, who Bawumia? Head of Economic Management team to come and run this country.

“The mess created by this Akufo-Addo administration is above measures. IMF has told us it would take 10 years for the country to be at a safer side. So it won’t be like President Mahama will be doing some magic after the 2024 victory but the fiscal discipline will be on track. I’m not saying this out of saying sake; President MAHAMA government has the track record.”
