Burna-Boy continues to break whatever boundaries are left in his artistic journey as he is set to perform alongside Hip-Hop and global star 50 Cent in the upcoming Afronation calendar which would be coming off in June this year and it is a list which features three of our very own artistes; Black Sherif, Camidoh and Gyakie. The event would be coming off in June between the 28th to 30th in what is a loaded three-days musical festival.

Burna-Boy alongside 50 Cent and French rapper, Booba. This edition of Afronation would see a strong lineup of artistic talents as Asake, Fireboy DML, Ayra starr, Oxlade, Vegedream, BNXN and so many more in what promises to be an exciting event for music lovers in Europe as the afronation train would be making a stopover in Portugal for this edition.

Afronation is a festival for music lovers founded in 2019 by Obi Asika and Smade. The show-stopped for a while due to the global COVID situation but has bounced back where it left from and one of the biggest music festivals globally that has seen a tall list of artists, both continental and global talents performing. It is a platform Burna-Boy, Wizkid, Davido, King Promise, R2BEES, Rema, Tems, Wande Coal, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Gyakie and so many more.

With Burna-Boy headlining the event, the African giant is going to do his thing and sharing a stage with 50 Cent is not an experience many African artists get to share and it’s a win for the continent and our afro-sound as it has grown to such heights where it is globally not only accepted but loved. Hopefully, Smade and Obi Asika and all who have made this a realization would continue coming up with innovation.
