According to journalist Kevin Taylor, Mr. Eugene Arhin, the director of communications for the presidency, is currently visiting his new wife in Canada because she recently gave birth to a child.
According to reports, Mr. Arhin left Ghana on January 19, 2023, a Thursday.
Kevin Taylor alleges in a Facebook post that the government delegate flew “first-class KL691 AMS-YYZ/business class” and passed through Amsterdam on his way to the country in North America.
Eugene Arhin sent his wife to give birth overseas because he (Eugene) lacks confidence in the Ghanaian healthcare system, according to Kevin Taylor.
Eugene Arhin, the Presidency’s Director of Communication, is standing at the counter. He is the one whose ex-wife disclosed that in just 4 years after assuming office, he had amassed an enormous fortune, owning houses strewn over Accra and Super Cars. Eugene Arhin now aspires to serve as a Member of Parliament in Ghana.
“He left Ghana yesterday through Amsterdam to Canada in a first class KL691 AMS- YYZ/ business class. His new wife or whatever has delivered in Canada and He’s going to see the baby. He does not even trust the Hospital System in Ghana,” he wrote.
Following the public disclosure of their marital issues by his ex-wife Gloria Assan in 2021, Mr. Eugene Arhin rose to fame. At the Divorce and Matrimonial division of the Accra High Court, she petitioned for a divorce.
Eugene Arhin “has committed and is continuing to commit adultery with one Chantel Kudjawu, commonly known as Getrude Gbajo,” according to one of the accusations made by Gloria.
Gloria Assan’s request for a divorce was ultimately granted by the court presided over by Justice Cecilia Don Chebe Agbeyey, despite the fact that she was unable to adduce proof to support her accusations of adultery against Eugene Arhin.
Eugene Arhin was given access to the children while the wife was given custody of them by the court during the dissolution of the marriage.
