Ex-Doe describes Nhyiraba Kojo as ‘Sakawa man’, rejects his $30,000

Ghanaian rapper, Richard Akwasi Siaw Akrofi, popularly known as Ex-Doe has allegedly rejected an offer of $30,000 from colleague musician, Nhyiraba Kojo.

Nhyiraba Kojo offered to give the musician the money to promote his music but surprisingly, the rapper rejected the money.

Nhyiraba Kojo had said on a show at Rainbow Radio that he was disappointed in Ex-Doe for still moving from station-to-station to promote his songs.

According to him, the rapper should have directed people to do that on his behalf, considering the number of years he has practised in the industry.

“A musician like Ex-Doe has been rapping for years but I cannot understand why he is still doing promotion. He is disgracing himself because I started listening to his music when I was in school. Ex-Doe should have taken a break and help up-and-coming artistes”, he said.

He didn’t save enough money and so he is struggling and feels he will still make money from music.’’

But reacting to Nhyiraba Kojo, Ex-Doe described him as hardcore fraudster who is not making genuine money.

Ex-Doe further claimed he was a well-known artiste who has established his name, saying former presidents Rawlings, Kufour and late Mills are greatest fans.

When asked by the host if he needed money to promote his music, he said “who doesn’t need money to promote his music.’’

Nhyiraba Kojo then pledged to offer him $30,000 to promote his music but Ex-Doe responded, “is the money a fraud money? If it is fraud money, then I don’t need it. If it is genuine money I will take it.’’

Nhyiraba Kojo laughed off the comment saying “I don’t do fraud”.

I am a businessman; If he is ready for the money I will give it to him now’’ but Ex-Doe declined the offer, saying I am grateful but I have a management promoting my work” before asking Kojo to use the money to help others.

“If his money is genuine, he should help others with it and stop bragging on radio. I am not in need of his money. He should give it to other people.’’
